Mustadrak al-Hakim 6544 — The death of Jabir bin Abdullah
حدثنا الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مَهْدي، عن سفيان، عن محمد بن المنكَدِر قال: سمعتُ جابرَ بن عبد الله يقول: دخلتُ على الحجَّاج فما سلَّمتُ عليه (3).
It is narrated from Muhammad bin al-Munkadir that I heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: "I went in to al-Hajjaj, and I did not greet him with salam."

Technical note / Defect ('illah): Sufyan here is Sufyan bin Sa'id al-Thawri.
