وأخبرنا أبو سهل بن زياد القطّان ببغداد، حَدَّثَنَا يحيى بن جعفر، حَدَّثَنَا على (3) بن عاصم، حَدَّثَنَا سُهيل بن أبي صالح. وحدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن بِشْر بن مَطَر، حَدَّثَنَا وهب بن بَقيَّة، حَدَّثَنَا خالد بن عبد الله، عن سهيل بن أبي صالح، عن الزُّهْري، عن عُروة بن الزُّبير، عن أسماء بنت عُمَيس قالت: قلت لرسول الله ﷺ: إِنَّ فاطمة بنت أبي حُبَيش استُحِيضت منذُ كذا وكذا فلم تصلِّ، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "سبحانَ الله، هذا من الشيطان، لتَجلِسْ في مِركَنٍ، فإذا رأت الصُّفَارةَ فوق الماء فلتغتَسِلْ للظُّهر والعصر غُسلًا واحدًا، وتغتسلْ للمغرب والعشاء غُسلًا واحدًا، وتغتسلْ للفجر، وتتوضَّأْ فيما بين ذلك" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه بهذه الألفاظ.

Sayyidah Asma bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh had been suffering from istihadah for such-and-such a time and had not been praying. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Subhan Allah! This is from Satan. Let her sit in a tub (a large vessel), and when she sees yellowness above the water, let her take one ritual bath for Zuhr and Asr, one ritual bath for Maghrib and Isha, and a separate ritual bath for Fajr, and let her perform ablution in between."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but they did not record it with this wording.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts this is corrupted (tahrif) into "Adi".
