Book of Purification
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَمْتَشِطَ أَحَدُنَا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَوْ يَبُولَ فِي مُغْتَسَلِهِ
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade combing the hair every day and urinating in the place of bathing

حَدَّثَنَا أبو العباس السَّيّاري، حَدَّثَنَا أبو الموجّه، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن يونس، حَدَّثَنَا زهير، عن داود بن عبد الله، عن حُميد بن عبد الرحمن الحِميَري، أظنُّه عن أبي هريرة قال: نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يمتشِطَ أحدُنا كلَّ يوم، أو يبولَ في مُعْتَسلِه (2).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from combing our hair every day and from urinating in the place where we bathe.

(2) إسناده صحيح. أبو الموجَّه: هو محمد بن عمرو الفَزَاري، وزهير: هو ابن معاوية، وداود بن عبد الله: هو الأَودي.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu al-Muwajjih refers to Muhammad bin 'Amr al-Fazari, Zuhayr to Zuhayr bin Mu'awiyah, and Dawud bin 'Abd Allah to Dawud bin 'Abd Allah al-Awdi.
وأخرجه أبو داود (28) عن أحمد بن يونس، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Abu Dawud narrated it (28) through Ahmad bin Yunus, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 28/ (17011) عن حميد بن عبد الرحمن الرؤاسي، عن زهير، به. بأطول مما هنا.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it at 28/(17011) through Humayd bin 'Abd al-Rahman al-Ru'asi from Zuhayr, in greater detail than here.
وأخرجه كذلك النسائيّ (235) من طريق أبي عوانة، عن داود الأودي، به.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Nasa'i narrated it (235) via the chain of Abu 'Awanah from Dawud al-Awdi.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
