It is narrated from Ibn Ishaq, in the mention of those who took part in Badr, that Khawwat bin Jubayr bin al-Nu'man bin Imru' al-Qays (whose title is al-Burak) bin Tha'labah bin Amr bin Awf is the one for whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted his share and his reward on the day of Badr.
