It is narrated from Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Khawwat bin Jubayr bin al-Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) is the one for whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted a share of the spoils along with the people of Badr.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: There is no harm in its men, as explained under number (4378), but it is "mursal". However, this report is well known, and several imams of the maghazi and sirah have mentioned it. Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi narrated it in "al-Sunan" (6/ 292) from Abu Abdullah al-Hakim with this same chain. Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi also narrated it (9/ 57) via Ya'qub bin Sufyan from Amr bin Khalid and Hassan bin Abdullah, from Ibn Lahi'ah, with this chain. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is in Ibn Abi Shaybah's "al-Musannaf" (9/ 114) with a sahih chain from Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla, from Khawwat bin Jubayr, who was a Badri Companion. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Musa bin Uqbah narrated (in al-Bayhaqi 6/ 292) the same as what Urwah bin al-Zubayr narrated.
