أخبرني أبو جعفر محمد بن عبد الله البغدادي، حدثنا أبو عُلَاثة، حدثني أبي، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة، عن أبي الأسود، عن عُرْوة، في تسميةِ مَن شهِد بدرًا مِن حُلفاء بني مَخزُوم: عمارُ بن ياسر (1).
It is narrated from Urwah that in the list of the allies of Banu Makhzum who took part in the Battle of Badr, Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) was (also) included.

(1) وأخرجه ابن عساكر في "تاريخ دمشق" 43/ 381 من طريق يعقوب بن سفيان، عن عمرو بن خالد الحَرّاني وحسان بن عبد الله الواسطي، عن ابن لَهِيعة، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn Asakir recorded it in "Tarikh Dimashq" (43/ 381) through the route of Ya'qub bin Sufyan, who narrates from Amr bin Khalid al-Harrani and Hassan bin Abd Allah al-Wasiti, who narrate from Ibn Lahi'ah, with this same chain.
