أخبرنا أبو جعفر البغدادي، حدثنا أبو عُلَاثة، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة، عن أبي الأسود، عن عُرْوة، في تَسمية من شهِد بدرًا، قال: خَبّاب بن الأرتّ (4).
It is narrated from Urwah, concerning the names of the Companions who took part in the Battle of Badr, that he said: Sayyiduna Khabbab bin al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him) is also (among them).

(4) وأخرجه الطبراني في "الكبير" (3611)، وعنه أبو نعيم في "معرفة الصحابة" (2339) عن أبي عُلَاثة محمد بن عمرو بن خالد الحراني، بهذا الإسناد.
