It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to look at a martyr walking on the face of the earth, let him look at Talhah bin Ubaydullah."
Al-Salt bin Dinar is alone in narrating this hadith, and it is not on the condition of this book.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) Its chain is very weak (da'if jiddan) on account of al-Salt bin Dinar, who is "wahin" (very weak), as al-Dhahabi said in his "Talkhis". Note / Clarification: Abu Nadrah refers to "al-Mundhir bin Malik bin Qit'ah al-'Abdi". Reference / Source: Ibn Majah (125) and al-Tirmidhi (3739) narrated it through two routes from al-Salt bin Dinar. Al-Tirmidhi said: It is gharib; we know it only from the hadith of al-Salt. (5691). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The hadith has another route, with Ibn Abi 'Asim in "al-Sunnah" (1403), al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (215), Ibn 'Asakir in "Tarikh Dimashq" 25/ 86, and al-Diya' al-Maqdisi in "al-Mukhtarah" 3/ (850), from Sulayman bin Ayyub bin 'Isa bin Musa bin Talhah bin 'Ubayd Allah, he from his father, he from his grandfather, he from Musa bin Talhah, and he from Talhah. Grading: This chain is weak, and the discussion of it has passed under hadith number (5691). Reference / Source: Al-Khatib narrated something similar in "Tarikh Baghdad" 6/ 44, and via his route Ibn 'Asakir 25/ 87 - 88, via the route of al-Qa'qa' bin Zakariyya, he from 'Abd Allah bin Idris, he from Talhah bin Yahya, he from 'Isa bin Talhah, and he from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him). Grading: Its chain is weak because al-Qa'qa' bin Zakariyya is unknown, since we could not find a biography (tarjamah) of him.
