Mustadrak al-Hakim 5702 — Talhah's pledge of allegiance at the hands

أخبرني الحسن بن حَليم المَرْوزي، أخبرنا أبو المُوجِّه، أخبرنا عَبْدانُ، أخبرنا عبد الله، أخبرني محمد بن إسحاق، عن يحيى بن عَبّاد بن عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن أبيه، عن جدِّه عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن الزُّبير قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "أُوجَبَ طَلْحةُ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from his father that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Awjaba (Talhah has made Paradise obligatory for himself)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Grading: (1) Its chain is hasan like the previous one.
Note / Clarification: Abu al-Muwajjih refers to "Muhammad bin 'Amr al-Fazari al-Marwazi", 'Abdan refers to "'Abd Allah bin 'Uthman bin Jabalah al-Marwazi", and 'Abd Allah refers to "Ibn al-Mubarak al-Marwazi".
