أخبرني الثَّقَفي، حدَّثنا موسى بن زكريا، حدَّثنا خَليفةُ، قال: مات أُبيُّ بن كعب في خلافة عُثمان سنة اثنتين وثلاثين (2). الخلافُ ظاهرٌ في وقت وفاة أُبيِّ بن كعب:
Khalifah bin Khayyat narrates that Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) died during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) in the year 32 AH. This disagreement about the time of the death of Ubayy bin Ka'b is evident.
