Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 5298

Mus'ab bin Abdullah says that Abdullah bin Tha'labah bin Su'ayr bin Abi Su'ayr al-Adawi was born four years before the Hijrah. In the year of the Conquest of Makkah he was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over his face and supplicated for blessing for him. At the time of the passing of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) he was fourteen years old. Abdullah bin Tha'labah (whose kunyah was Abu Muhammad) died in the year 89 AH at the age of ninety-three.
