أخبرنا أحمد بن يعقوب الثقفي، حدثنا موسى بن زكريا التُّستَري، حدثنا خليفة بن خيّاط، فذكَرَ هذا النسبَ، وقال: أدركتْ أمُّ أبي عُبيدة الإسلامَ (1).
Khalifah bin Khayyat also stated this same lineage, and he added that the mother of Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah (may Allah be pleased with him) lived to see Islam (that is, she embraced Islam).
