Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 5006

Imam al-Sha'bi narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came back from Khaybar, and then he mentioned the previous hadith.
This hadith is sahih (authentic); with this sahih chain the narration has appeared as mursal, but Ajlah bin Abdullah has narrated it as mawsul (with a connected chain).

Grading: (2) This too is "hasan li-ghayrih", like the previous one, and the narrators of this chain are "thiqah", but it is "mursal". Sufyan (in the chain) is Ibn 'Uyaynah, Ibn Abi Khalid is Isma'il, and Zakariyya is Ibn Abi Za'idah.
