أَمَرَ اللَّهُ نَبِيَّهُ أَنْ يُبَشِّرَ خَدِيجَةَ بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her): Allah commanded His Prophet to give Khadijah the glad tidings of a house in Paradise

حدثنا (1) أبو العبّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن عفّان العامري، حدثنا عبد الله بن نُمير. وأخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا وكيع وعبد الله بن نُمير، قالا حدثنا هشام بن عُرْوة [عن أبيه] (2) عن عبد الله بن جعفر، عن علي بن أبي طالب، قال: سمعتُ رسولَ الله ﷺ يقول: "خيرُ نسائِها مريمُ بنتُ عِمران، وخيرُ نسائها خَديجة (3). قد اتفق البخاري ومسلم على إخراجه، وإنما أردتُ ما:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best of the women of her time is Maryam bint Imran, and the best of the women of this Ummah is Khadijah." Bukhari and Muslim have agreed on recording it.

(1) من هذا الحديث وحتى الحديث (4916) جاءت في أصولنا الخطية مؤخرة إلى ما بعد الحديث (4927) بعد مناقب سعد بن خيثمة، وأبقيناها هاهنا كما وردت في المطبوعة الهندية، لأنها من تمام الأحاديث الواردة في مناقب السيدة خديجة ﵂ وأرضاها.
Order of the manuscripts: From this hadith up to hadith (4916), this section appears in our manuscripts moved back to after hadith (4927), after the virtues of Sa'd bin Khaythamah. We have kept it here (in its place) as it is in the "Indian printed edition", because it completes the hadiths reported on the virtues of Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her).
(2) سقط ذكر عروة بن الزبير من أصولنا الخطية، فهو ثابت لجميع من خرَّج الخبر، وهو ثابت في رواية "مسند أحمد"، فلذلك أثبتناه.
Correction of the chain: The mention of "'Urwah bin al-Zubayr" had dropped out of our manuscripts, although it is established with all who cited the report and is also present in the narration of "Musnad Ahmad"; therefore we have established (inserted) it here.
(3) إسناده صحيح عبد الله بن جعفر: هو ابن أبي طالب.
Grading of the chain: Its chain is "sahih". 'Abd Allah bin Ja'far is "Ibn Abi Talib".
وهو في "مسند أحمد" 2/ (640) عن عبد الله بن نمير، و (1109) عن وكيع.
Reference: It is in "Musnad Ahmad" (2/640) from 'Abd Allah bin Numayr, and (1109) from Waki'.
وقد تقدَّم برقم (3879) من طرق عن هشام بن عُرْوة.
Reference: It has already passed under number (3879) through various routes from Hisham bin 'Urwah.
