In the previous narration of Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), this addition is narrated: that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In this case my judgment too would have been the same as what Ali has decided."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. The narration of Ibn Uyaynah further strengthens it, and Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i has corroborated al-Ajlah in his narration of it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "weak", like the previous chain. Identification of the narrator: Sufyan is Ibn 'Uyaynah.
Correction / Note: This is how it appears (al-Sabi'i) in the manuscripts of "al-Mustadrak", and we can only consider it an "error", because the one who narrated this report from al-Sha'bi is in fact "Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani" (Sulayman bin Abi Sulayman), not "al-Sabi'i". Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (5655, 5994) and al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (4989) recorded it by way of Khalid bin Abd Allah al-Wasiti, and Muhammad bin Khalaf in "Akhbar al-Qudat" (1/ 93) by way of Abu Ishaq al-Fazari, both of them from Abu Ishaq "al-Shaybani", with it. However, Khalid al-Wasiti left the mention of Abu al-Khalil Abd Allah bin al-Khalil unnamed, saying: "from a man from Hadramawt".
