فحدَّثَناه أبو بكر بن إسحاق، حدثنا أبو المثنَّى، حدثنا محمد بن المِنهال، حدثنا يزيد بن زُرَيع، حدثنا هشام، عن يحيى، عن عِيَاض: أنه سأل أبا سعيد الخُدْري، فذكر بنحوه (1). وأما حديث علي بن المبارك:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), with the same text (about doubt in prayer and the whisper that ablution has been broken), through the routes of Hisham and Ali bin al-Mubarak.
These narrations through Yahya bin Abi Kathir agree on the authenticity of this hadith.
(1) صحيح لغيره، وإسناده ضعيف كسابقه. Grading: It is "sahih li-ghayrihi", while its particular chain is da'if (weak), like the one before it. وأخرجه ابن حبان (2665) عن الحسن بن سفيان، عن محمد بن المنهال بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: Imam Ibn Hibban (2665) recorded it from al-Hasan bin Sufyan, from Muhammad bin al-Minhal, with this same chain. وأخرجه أحمد 17/ (11082) و (11321) و 18/ (11478) و (11499)، وأبو داود (1029)، من طرق عن هشام الدستوائي، به. Reference / Source: It was recorded by Imam Ahmad 17/ (11082, 11321) and 18/ (11478, 11499) and Abu Dawud (1029) through various routes from Hisham al-Dastuwa'i.
