It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Is there the flash of lightning in Paradise?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. By the One in whose hand is my soul! Indeed, when Uthman moves from one dwelling to another, Paradise lights up (with his light)."
If al-Husayn bin Ubaydullah has preserved it (in this way) from Abd al-Aziz bin Abi Hazim, then it is sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: (1) In the manuscripts this name has been distorted into "al-Hasan", and in al-Dhahabi's "Talkhis" a mark of doubt (tadbib) has been placed over it. In the printed edition the correct name has come, in agreement with the other sources that record the report, and in most of the sources it is specified with "al-Ijli"; and al-Dhahabi gave his correct name in his comment on al-Hakim's authentication.
Grading: (2) Its chain is "talif" (utterly worthless). Technical note / Defect ('illah): The reason is "al-Husayn bin Ubayd Allah" (al-Ijli), for he has been accused of fabricating hadith, and al-Dhahabi said in "al-Talkhis": This is fabricated (mawdu'), and in "Mizan al-I'tidal" he said: This is a lie. Before him, Ibn Adi, after citing it in "al-Kamil" (2/364), said: This is false. Reference / Source: Ibn Adi recorded it in "al-Kamil" (2/364), Abu Hafs bin Shahin in "Sharh Madhahib Ahl al-Sunnah" (110), Abu Nu'aym in "Fada'il al-Khulafa' al-Rashidin" (45), Ibn Asakir in "Tarikh Dimashq" (39/108) and Ibn al-Jawzi in "al-Mawdu'at" (622), through two routes from al-Husayn bin Ubayd Allah al-Ijli, with this chain.
Note / Clarification: (3) Here too the name has been distorted and written as "al-Hasan" (whereas the correct form is al-Husayn).
