The nephew of Suraqah bin Ju'shum narrates from his father that he heard Suraqah bin Ju'shum say: "The messengers of the disbelievers of Quraysh came to us and fixed a reward equal to one blood-money (one hundred camels) for (each of) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Abu Bakr, for whoever killed them or took them captive."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih". Technical note / Defect ('illah): Sa'id bin 'Ufayr: he is Sa'id bin Kathir bin 'Ufayr. 'Uqayl: he is Ibn Khalid al-Ayli. Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari (3906) recorded it at full length, with the complete story of Suraqah, via Yahya bin Bukayr > al-Layth bin Sa'd with this same chain. Technical note / Defect ('illah): So al-Hakim's including it (as an addition in the Mustadrak) is an oversight on his part. Note / Clarification: It has already passed at length, with mention of the complete story of Suraqah (at no. 4315), via Ma'mar bin Rashid > al-Zuhri.
