Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 4327

حدثنا علي بن حَمْشاذَ العدل، حدثنا هشام بن علي السَّدُوسِي، حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن ثابت، عن أنس، قال: شهدت يومَ دخل النبي ﷺ المدينة، فلم أر يومًا أحسن ولا أضوأ منه (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was present on the day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Madinah, and I have never seen a day more beautiful or more radiant than that day.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): Thabit is "Ibn Aslam al-Bunani".
وأخرجه أحمد 19 / (12234) و 21 / (13522) و (14063) من طرق عن حماد بن سلمة، به. وأخرجه أحمد 21 / (13312) و (13830)، وابن ماجه (1631)، والترمذي (3618)، وابن حبان (6634) من طريق جعفر بن سليمان الضُّبَعي، عن ثابت، عن أنس، قال: لما كان اليوم الذي قدم فيه رسول الله ﷺ المدينة أضاء منها كل شيء.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (19/12234, 21/13522 and 14063) narrated it through various routes from Hammad bin Salamah. Also Ahmad (21/13312 and 13830), Ibn Majah (1631), al-Tirmidhi (3618) and Ibn Hibban (6634) narrated it through the route of Ja'far bin Sulayman al-Duba'i, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: "On the day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah, everything in it became illuminated."
