Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: God willing, this hadith is "hasan" on the basis of its two routes.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The hadith scholars differ about Ibrahim bin Ishaq al-Ju'fi (known as "al-Sini"), but he has been corroborated (mutaba'ah). Likewise there is disagreement about Hibban bin 'Ali (al-'Anazi), though his hadith is fit for "i'tibar" (corroboration).
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: This report is also narrated from 'Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) via another chain.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): And this 'Abd al-Hamid is "thiqah" (trustworthy).
Reference / Source: It was recorded by Abu al-Shaykh (450), al-Bayhaqi in "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" 7/ 278, al-Baghawi in "al-Anwar" (910) and Ibn 'Asakir at 4/ 220-221 via Muhammad bin Ishaq, from Yazid bin Abi Habib, from Marthad bin 'Abdullah al-Yazani, from 'Abdullah bin Zurayr al-Ghafiqi, from 'Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him).
Grading: This chain is "hasan" for corroborating chains and supporting reports (mutaba'at and shawahid),
Technical note / Defect ('illah): because it contains Ibn Ishaq's "'an'anah" (narrating with the word "'an").
