It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty granted Ayyub (peace be upon him) healing, He rained locusts of gold upon him (or he said: they were rained upon him), and he began to catch them with his hands and gather them into his garment. It was said to him (by Allah): 'O Ayyub! Are you not satisfied?' He said: 'Who can be satisfied with Your mercy?'"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih. (Identification of narrators): Abu Muslim is Ibrahim bin Abd Allah bin Muslim al-Kajji, Hammam is Ibn Yahya al-'Awdhi, and Qatadah is Ibn Di'amah al-Sadusi. Reference / Source: It was recorded by Ahmad 13/ (8038) and 14/ (8569), and Ibn Hibban (6230) through two routes from Hammam bin Yahya, with this chain. Reference / Source: It was recorded by Ahmad 13/ (8159), al-Bukhari (279), (3391) and (7493), and Ibn Hibban (6229) via Hammam bin Munabbih; and by al-Nasa'i in "al-Mujtaba" (409) via 'Ata' bin Yasar; both of them from Abu Hurayrah. Reference / Source: It was recorded by Ahmad 12/ (7309) via al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah as "mawquf". Technical note / Defect ('illah): But al-Humaydi narrated it as "marfu'" in his "Musnad" (1091) through the very same route found in Ahmad!!
