It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The tree in whose shade the Prophet of Allah Musa (peace be upon him) took refuge was mentioned to me. So I travelled for two days and two nights and reached it in the morning. I saw that it was completely green and flourishing. I sent blessings and peace upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). My camel was hungry; it went towards it and, out of hunger, tore off a mouthful of its leaves and chewed them, but it could not swallow them and spat them out. Then I sent blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and returned."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: In manuscripts (Z), (S) and (B) the phrase has been corrupted into "hisn abraq"; in the margin of (S) it is suggested that it is "khadra' tariffu", and that is correct, as found in ('A) and the other narrations of this report. The meaning of "tariffu" is: it gleams and glitters.
Grading: Its narrators are thiqah (trustworthy). (Identification of narrators): Isra'il is Ibn Yunus bin Abi Ishaq al-Sabi'i, and Abu Ishaq, his grandfather, is Amr bin Abd Allah al-Sabi'i, and Amr bin Maymun is al-Awdi. Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Tabari in his "Tafsir" 20/ 58 from al-Husayn bin Amr al-'Anqazi, from his father, from Isra'il, with this chain. Reference / Source: It was recorded by Abd Allah bin Ahmad in "al-Sunnah" (558) and (1128), and via him by Ibn Mandah in "al-Tawhid" (584), via Sulayman bin Mihran al-A'mash, from Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i, with it. Reference / Source: It was recorded in abridged form (without mentioning Ibn Mas'ud's camel) by Abd Allah bin Ahmad in "al-Sunnah" (559) and al-Tabari in his "Tafsir" 20/ 71, via Abu 'Ubaydah bin Abd Allah bin Mas'ud, from his father. Technical note / Defect ('illah): But Abu 'Ubaydah did not hear from his father (it is munqati'). Note / Clarification: The "tree" mentioned here refers to the one under which Musa (peace be upon him) took shelter in "Madyan", as in the sources of the takhrij.
