(1). Wahb bin Munabbih (may Allah have mercy on him) relates, and al-Hasan bin Abi al-Hasan mentioned it from seven men who took part in the Battle of Badr, and Wahb says that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) also narrated it to him; all of them trace this hadith back to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will call Nuh (peace be upon him) and his people first of all, and will ask: 'What response did you give to Nuh?' They will say: 'He did not call us, nor convey any message to us, nor advise us sincerely, nor command us to do anything or forbid us.' Then Nuh (peace be upon him) will say: 'O my Lord, I called them with an open call that was well known among the earlier and later peoples, one nation after another, until it reached the Seal of the Prophets, Ahmad (peace and blessings be upon him), and he wrote it down, read it, believed in it and affirmed it as true.' Then Allah Almighty will say to the angels: 'Call Ahmad and his Ummah.' So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah will come with their light running before them. Nuh (peace be upon him) will say to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah: 'Do you know that I conveyed the message to my people, strove to my utmost in advising them sincerely, and struggled to save them from the Fire secretly and openly, but my call only increased them in flight (and distance)?' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah will reply: 'We bear witness to what you have adjured us about, that in everything you have said you are among the truthful.' The people of Nuh (peace be upon him) will say: 'O Ahmad, how did you and your Ummah come to know this, when we are the first of nations and you and your Ummah are the last of nations?!' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) will say: 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Indeed, We sent Nuh to his people, (saying): Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment' [Surah Nuh: 1]. He (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the surah until he completed it. When he completed the surah, his Ummah said: 'We bear witness: Indeed, this is the true narration, and there is no god except Allah, and indeed Allah is the Almighty, the Wise' [Surah Al Imran: 62]. At that point Allah Almighty will say: 'Separate yourselves today, O criminals.' So they (the people of Nuh) will be the first to be separated into Hell."

Grading: Its chain is "wahin" (very weak), as al-Dhahabi said in his "Talkhis", because of 'Abd al-Mun'im bin Idris, who is "matruk al-hadith" (abandoned in hadith). Indeed, Imam Ahmad stated explicitly that he used to lie against Wahb bin Munabbih, and that he did not hear anything from his father, because his father died when he was five or six years old. Reference / Source: What makes it unnecessary is the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, which Ahmad (17/11283), al-Bukhari (3339), al-Tirmidhi (2961) and al-Nasa'i (10940) narrated in abridged form.
