حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن عفّان، حدثنا محمد بن بشر العَبْدي، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "خير يوم طلعت الشمسُ فيه يوم الجمعة، فيه خُلِقَ آدم، وفيه أهبط إلى الأرض" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، وقد أخرجاه (3) من حديث الزهري بغير هذا اللفظ.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, and on it he was sent down to the earth."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, and the two of them (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) recorded it through the hadith of al-Zuhri with wording other than this.

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل محمد بن عمرو - وهو ابن علقمة - وقد توبع.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih", and this chain is "hasan" because of Muhammad bin 'Amr (Ibn 'Alqamah), and he has been corroborated.
وأخرجه أحمد 16 / (10545) عن يزيد بن هارون، عن محمد بن عمرو، به وزاد: "فيه خُلق آدم، وفيه أُدخل الجنة، وفيه أهبط منها، وفيه تقوم الساعة، وفيه ساعة لا يوافقها مؤمن يصلي يسأل الله ﷿ خيرًا إلا أعطاه إياه".
Reference / Source: Ahmad (16/10545) narrated it from Yazid bin Harun, from Muhammad bin 'Amr, likewise, and added: "On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted into Paradise, on it he was sent down from it, on it the Hour will be established, and in it there is an hour which no believer who is praying and asks Allah for good coincides with, except that He grants it to him."
وقد تقدم برقم (1043) من طريق محمد بن إبراهيم التيمي عن أبي سلمة.
Reference / Source: It has already appeared at number (1043) via Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Taymi, from Abu Salamah.
(3) بل أخرجه مسلم وحده برقم (854).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Rather, only Muslim narrated it, at number (854).
