Sayyiduna Ali bin al-Husayn (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)), that he said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Six people I have cursed, and Allah and every prophet whose supplication is answered has cursed them: (1) the one who adds to the Book of Allah, (2) the one who denies the decree of Allah, (3) the one who takes control with arrogance and tyranny in order to humiliate those whom Allah has honoured and to honour those whom Allah has humiliated, (4) the one who abandons my Sunnah, (5) the one who regards as lawful, with regard to my offspring (the Ahl al-Bayt), what Allah has made unlawful, (6) and the one who regards as lawful what Allah has made unlawful." (After narrating this hadith,) Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Recite the surah "By the night when it covers": "As for he who gives and fears (Allah), and affirms the best (reward), We will ease him towards ease. But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need, and denies the best (reward), We will ease him towards difficulty." [Surah al-Layl: 5-10] Abu Ali (al-Husayn bin Ali al-Hafiz) narrated this hadith to us in this way, and it has (another) sahih chain which I fear I have already mentioned earlier.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" because of the weakness of Ubaydullah bin Mawhab and his idtirab (inconsistency) in it (as explained at number 102), and the condition of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Firyabi is unknown. Sufyan is "al-Thawri". Reference / Source: It was narrated by al-Tahawi in "Mushkil al-Athar" (3462) from Abd al-Malik bin Marwan al-Raqqi, from Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Firyabi, with it, from Ali bin al-Husayn, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as "mursal". (1485). Reference / Source: Likewise it was narrated from Sufyan al-Thawri by Abu Usamah Hammad bin Usamah (in Abu al-Qasim bin Bishran's "Amali" 234) and Abdullah bin al-Walid al-Adani (in al-Fakihi's "Akhbar Makkah" 1485). (1486). Reference / Source: Hafs bin Ghiyath also narrated it from Ubaydullah bin Mawhab as "mursal" (as al-Tirmidhi mentioned after hadith 2154), and likewise Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated it from a man (whom he did not name), from Ali bin al-Husayn (in al-Fakihi 1486).
(102). Reference / Source: It has already passed with this chain under number (102).
