ما حدثنا علي بن عيسى بن إبراهيم حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن، حدثنا أبو بكر بن نافع، حدثنا المعتمِر، حدثني سليمان المَدِيني، عن عبد الله بن دينار، عن ابن عمر قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "لا يَجْمَعُ الله أُمَّتِي على ضلالةٍ أبدًا" (2). والخلاف الرابع على المعتمِر فيه:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah will never gather my Ummah upon misguidance."
This is the third variation narrated from al-Mu'tamir bin Sulayman.

(2) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف كسابقه. أبو بكر بن نافع: هو محمد بن أحمد بن نافع.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrih", and its chain is "da'if" like the previous chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The full name of the narrator Abu Bakr bin Nafi' in the chain is Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Nafi'.
وأخرجه الترمذي في "الجامع" (2167)، وفي "العلل الكبير" (597)، والدولابي في "الكنى والأسماء" (1431) من طريق أبي بكر بن نافع بهذا الإسناد. وانظر ما سيأتي برقم (402).
Reference / Source: Imam al-Tirmidhi narrated it in his "Jami'" (2167) and in "al-'Ilal al-Kabir" (597), and al-Dulabi in "al-Kuna wa al-Asma'" (1431), through the route of Abu Bakr bin Nafi' with this same chain.
