أخبرنا أبو بكر أحمد بن سلمان الفقيه ببغداد، حدثنا هلال بن العلاء الرَّقّي، حدثنا أَبي، حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمرو الرَّقّي، عن زيد بن أبي أُنيسة، عن الأعمش، عن أبي ظَبْيان عن ابن عبَّاس: ﴿ن وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ﴾ قال: وما يَكتُبون (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said concerning the saying of Allah, "Nun. By the Pen and what they inscribe": It means "what they write."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
