It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Isa (peace be upon him) made an appointment to meet his twelve companions (disciples) in a house. He came out to them from a spring at one side of the house, shaking (the water from) his head (and the narrator mentioned the whole hadith), at the end of which it says that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed this verse: "So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant." [Surah al-Saff: 14]
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
