سِدْرُ الْجَنَّةِ مَخْضُودٌ يُجْعَلُ مَكَانَ كُلِّ شَوْكَةٍ ثَمَرَةٌ

أخبرنا أبو بكر محمد بن عبد الله الشافعي، حدثنا إسحاق بن الحسن، حدثنا أبو حُذَيفة، حدثنا سفيان، عن سليمان الشَّيباني، عن يزيد بن الأصمِّ، عن ابن عبَّاس: ﴿وَظِلٍّ مِنْ يَحْمُومٍ﴾ [الواقعة: 43]، قال: من دُخانٍ أسودَ (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد على شرط الشيخين، ولم يخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) concerning the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "And in the shade of black smoke" [Surah al-Waqi'ah: 43], that he said: "(It means) black-coloured smoke."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(2) خبر صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل أبي حذيفة - وهو موسى بن مسعود النَّهدي - وقد توبع - سفيان: هو الثوري.
Grading: This report is "sahih", and the chain is "hasan" on account of Abu Hudhayfah (Musa bin Mas'ud al-Nahdi), and he has been corroborated (mutaba'ah). Sufyan is al-Thawri.
وأخرجه البيهقي في "البعث والنشور" (532) عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi narrated it in "al-Ba'th wa al-Nushur" (532) by way of Abu 'Abd Allah al-Hakim with this same chain.
وأخرجه الطبري في "تفسيره" 27/ 192 من طريق عبد الرحمن بن مهدي ومهران الرازي، كلاهما عن سفيان الثوري، به.

وأخرجه الطبري أيضًا 27/ 192، والبيهقي (532) من طرق عن سليمان الشيباني، به.
