حَدَّثَنَا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حَدَّثَنَا الحسن بن علي بن عفّان العامِري، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الله بن نُمير، عن وائل بن داود، عن عِكْرمة، عن ابن عبَّاس أنه كان يقرأ: (خاشِعًا أبصارهم) [القمر: 7] بالألف (1). صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه. [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] ترقيم العلميه 3762 - صحيح
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he used to recite this part of the verse, 'khashi'an absaruhum' [Surah al-Qamar: 7], with an alif (that is, 'khashi'an').
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
