فحدَّثَناه أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحَكَم، حَدَّثَنَا أبي، حَدَّثَنَا بكر بن مُضَر، حدثني جعفر بن رَبِيعة، عن عِرَاك بن مالك، عن عُبيد الله بن عبد الله، عن ابن عبَّاس قال: انشقّ القمرُ على عهدِ رسول الله ﷺ (2). وأما حديث عبد الله بن عَمْرو:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the moon split in the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

(2) إسناده صحيح. عبيد الله بن عبد الله: هو ابن عتبة بن مسعود.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih". 'Ubayd Allah bin 'Abd Allah is Ibn 'Utbah bin Mas'ud.
وأخرجه البخاري (3638) و (3870) و (4866)، ومسلم (2803) من طرق عن بكر بن مضر، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari (3638 etc.) and Muslim (2803) narrated it through routes from Bakr bin Mudar with this same chain.
