Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 3752

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Miswar bin Makhramah and Marwan bin al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with them both) that they both said: Surah al-Fath was revealed between Makkah and Madinah concerning the affair of the Treaty of Hudaybiyah, complete from its beginning to its end.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Grading: Its chain is "hasan" because of Muhammad bin Ishaq, and he explicitly stated that he heard it directly in the narration of Yunus bin Bukayr (al-Bayhaqi: al-Sunan al-Kubra 9/ 223).
