Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, but with mention of the verse of the women's pledge of allegiance, which is in Surat al-Mumtahanah, verse (12) (not that of Surat al-An'am).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): This chain is weak. Muhammad bin Maslamah has been criticised, but he has been corroborated. Sufyan bin Husayn, despite being thiqah (trustworthy), is weak in his narration from al-Zuhri by the agreement of the leading hadith scholars. He was alone in mentioning the verse of al-An'am in the hadith of al-Zuhri, and this is one of his errors (awham), because the hafiz students of al-Zuhri contradicted him, such as Sufyan bin Uyaynah (Musnad Ahmad: 22678, al-Bukhari: 4894) and Ma'mar (Sahih Muslim: 1709/ 42): both of them explicitly named in it the verse of the women in Surat al-Mumtahanah.
Reference / Source: Al-Shashi recorded it in his "Musnad" (1229) from Isa bin Ahmad al-Asqalani, and Ibn Abi Hatim in his "Tafsir" (5/ 1417) from Ahmad bin Sinan al-Wasiti, both of them from Yazid bin Harun, with this chain.
Grading: Isa and Ahmad are both thiqah (trustworthy).
Reference / Source: Muhammad bin Nasr al-Marwazi recorded it in "Ta'zim Qadr al-Salah" (660) by way of Sa'id bin Yahya al-Wasiti, from Sufyan bin Husayn, with the same chain. Something similar was recorded by Ahmad (37/ (22678) and (22733)), al-Bukhari (18, 3892, 4864, 6784, 6801, 7213), Muslim (1709), al-Tirmidhi (1439), and al-Nasa'i (7252, 7736, 11524) by various routes from al-Zuhri, with the same chain.
Details of the narration: In their versions, at its beginning, it reads: "Pledge allegiance to me that you will not associate anything with Allah..." and he mentioned what is in the verse of al-Mumtahanah, then said: "Whoever of you fulfils it..." and he mentioned the rest. Some of them did not refer to the verse, some said: "And he recited the verse of the women", and some said: "And he recited the verse."
Reference / Source: Something similar was recorded by Ahmad (22670), Muslim (1709/ 43), Ibn Majah (2603), and Ibn Hibban (4405) by way of Abu Qilabah, from Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani, from Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took from us the same pledge he took from the women..." and he mentioned it.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Khalid al-Hadhdha' was in doubt in his narration from Abu Qilabah (with Ahmad 22668), and made it his (Abu Qilabah's) narration from Abu Asma' al-Rahabi, from Ubadah. The mahfuz (preserved) version is: Abu Qilabah, from Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): In fact the two are a single hadith, as is clear from its context, and Sufyan bin Husayn erred in mentioning the verse of al-An'am in it, as has been explained. And Allah Most High knows best.
