Musa bin Uqbah recited the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, "And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord" [Surah Al Imran: 133], and narrated that it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever would be pleased to have lofty buildings raised for him (in Paradise) and his ranks elevated, let him pardon the one who wronged him, give to the one who deprived him, and maintain ties with the one who cut him off."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, and the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Grading: Its chain is very da'if; Technical note / Defect ('illah): Hajjaj bin Nusayr is da'if, and Abu Umayyah bin Ya'la (whose name is Isma'il) is matruk al-hadith (abandoned in hadith). As for Ishaq bin Yahya: if he is Ibn Talhah al-Qurashi (as it occurs here with the author), then he is matruk al-hadith; and if he is al-Ansari (as in al-Tabarani's narration), then he is Ishaq bin Yahya bin al-Walid bin Ubadah (known through Musa bin Uqbah's narration from him), and he is majhul al-hal (of unknown standing), and he did not meet his great-grandfather Ubadah. In any case, the route to him contains Abu Umayyah, who is matruk, as already mentioned. Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani recorded it in "al-Kabir" (534), "al-Awsat" (2579) and "Makarim al-Akhlaq" (57) from Abu Muslim al-Kashshi (Ibrahim bin Abd Allah), with this chain. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: On this topic there is a narration from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) in Ibn al-A'rabi's "Mu'jam" (1477) and in Abu Muhammad bin Abi Shurayh's "al-Ahadith al-Mi'ah al-Shurayhiyyah" (14), Grading: and its chain is very da'if.
