حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن عفَّان العامري، حدثنا عبد الله بن نُمير، عن عُبيد الله بن عمر، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر: ﴿الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ﴾ [البقرة: 197]، قال: شوَّالٌ وذو القَعْدة وعشرٌ من ذي الحِجَّة (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty, "Hajj is (in) well-known months" [Surah al-Baqarah: 197], that he said: (These months are) Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah and the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

وأخرجه البيهقي 4/ 342 عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi recorded it in 4/ 342 from Abu Abd Allah al-Hakim with this same chain.
وأخرجه بنحوه سعيد بن منصور في التفسير من "سننه" (331)، وابن أبي شيبة (13805 - عوامة)، والطبري في تفسيره 2/ 258، وكذا ابن أبي حاتم 1/ 345 من طرق عن نافع به. وأخرجه كذلك سعيد بن منصور (329)، وابن أبي شيبة (13804)، والطبري 2/ 258 و 259، والدارقطني في "سننه" (2455) و (2456) من طرق عن ابن عمر. وعلَّقه البخاري بين يدي الحديث (1560) بلا سند.
Reference / Source: Something similar was recorded by Sa'id bin Mansur in the Tafsir section of his "Sunan" (331), Ibn Abi Shaybah in (13805 - Awwamah), al-Tabari in his Tafsir 2/ 258, and likewise Ibn Abi Hatim in 1/ 345, via various routes from Nafi' with this same chain. Likewise Sa'id bin Mansur recorded it in (329), Ibn Abi Shaybah in (13804), al-Tabari in 2/ 258 and 259, and al-Daraqutni in his "Sunan" (2455) and (2456), via various routes from Ibn Umar. Al-Bukhari mentioned it in suspended form (mu'allaq) before hadith (1560), without a chain.
