Mustadrak al-Hakim 3081 — The messengers were three hundred

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) concerning the saying of Allah: "Each one of them wishes that he could be given a life of a thousand years" [Surah al-Baqarah: 96], that he said: "It refers to the saying of the non-Arabs when someone sneezes: 'Zihi hazar sal' (that is, may you live a thousand years)."
