It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the words "yukrimun", "yahuddun", "ya'kulun" and "yuhibbun" in these blessed verses in the third person, that is, with the letter ya: "Nay! Rather, they do not honour the orphan, nor do they urge the feeding of the poor." [Surah al-Fajr: 17-18]
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith Grading
Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is very weak (da'if jiddan).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Dhahabi declared the narrator Abu Mutarrif (Mughirah bin Mutarrif al-Wasiti) very weak in "al-Muqtana fi Sard al-Kuna" (5813), and Sufyan bin Husayn is weak when narrating from al-Zuhri.
Reference / Source: Abu 'Umar al-Duri recorded it in "Qira'at al-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him)" (125) from Muhammad bin Sa'dan from Abu al-Mutarrif, with this chain.
Reference / Source: Al-Daraqutni mentioned it in "al-'Ilal" 4/275 (559) by way of Muhammad bin Sa'dan, then said: 'Abdullah bin Muhammad (who was a righteous man but weak) contradicted him, and said: from al-Zuhri from Salim from his father; and both routes are not mahfuz (preserved).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): We say: the reading with ya' in these words is the reading of Abu 'Amr among the Seven Readers, while the rest read it with ta'. 'Asim, Hamzah and al-Kisa'i read (تَحاضُّون) with an alif, while Ibn Kathir, Nafi' and Ibn 'Amir read it without an alif. (See "al-Sab'ah" by Ibn Mujahid, p. 685.)
