حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن داود بن سليمان الزاهد، حدثنا علي بن الحسين ابن الجُنَيد المالكي بالرَّي، حدثنا سُوَيد بن سعيد الأنباري، حدثنا الوليد بن جُندُب، حدثنا بكر بن خُنَيس، عن محمد بن سعيد، عن عُبَادة بن نُسَيٍّ، عن عبد الرحمن بن غَنْم قال: سألتُ معاذًا عن قول الله: ﴿مَا كَانَ يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ﴾ أو (نُتَّخَذَ)؟ قال: سمعت النبي ﷺ يقرأ: ﴿أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ مِنْ دُونِكَ﴾ [الفرقان: 18]؛ بنَصْب النون (1).
It is narrated from Abd al-Rahman bin Ghanm that he said: I asked Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) about this statement of Allah Almighty, whether the word is "nattakhidha" (with a fathah on the nun) or "nuttakhadha". He said: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite it with a fathah on the nun: 'that we should take (any protector) besides You.'" [Surah al-Furqan: 18]

(1) إسناده تالف، محمد بن سعيد - وهو الشامي المصلوب - هالك متَّهم بالكذب، وبكر بن خنيس ضعيف.
Grading: Its chain is "talif" (ruined, i.e. extremely weak).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Muhammad bin Sa'id (who is al-Shami al-Maslub) is "halik" (perished) and accused of lying, and Bakr bin Khunays is "da'if".
وقرأ (نُتَّخذَ) بضم النون وفتح الخاء أبو جعفر يزيد بن القعقاع من العشرة، انظر "النشر في القراءات العشر" لا ابن الجزري 2/ 333.
General principle: (نُتَّخذَ), with dammah on the nun and fathah on the kha', was read among the Ten by Abu Ja'far Yazid bin al-Qa'qa'. See "al-Nashr fi al-Qira'at al-'Ashr" by Ibn al-Jazari 2/ 333.
