It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And you will see the people as if intoxicated, yet they will not be intoxicated." [Surah al-Hajj: 2]
Imam Bukhari has narrated this hadith with a long story at the end of which is this verse, and of these two narrations, the hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari is the more authentic.

(2953). Grading: Its chain is "da'if". Technical note / Defect ('illah): This weakness is because of al-Hakam bin Abd al-Malik. See also (2953). Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (2941), al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (18/ (298), and Tammam in "al-Fawa'id" (515) narrated it by various routes from al-Hasan bin Bishr, with this same chain, except that al-Hasan al-Basri is not mentioned between Qatadah and 'Imran in al-Tirmidhi's hadith, and al-Tirmidhi himself pointed this out.
Reference / Source: In the "Sahih" (of al-Bukhari) it is at number (4741). Its opening part preceded with the author under number (80) by way of Waki' from al-A'mash.
