It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever seeks knowledge in order to vaunt his superiority over the scholars, or to argue and dispute with the foolish, or to turn people's attention towards himself, he will go to the Fire."
The two Shaykhs did not take any narration from Ishaq bin Yahya, but I have presented it as a shahid (supporting narration) in line with their condition, and Ishaq bin Yahya is among the nobles of Quraysh.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is very weak, because Ishaq bin Yahya bin Talhah is "matruk al-hadith" (one whose hadith is abandoned). Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Abi Uways (Isma'il bin Abd Allah) is also not very strong, whereas his brother Abu Bakr Abd al-Hamid bin Abi Uways is thiqah. Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (2654) narrated it via Umayyah bin Khalid, from Ishaq bin Yahya bin Talhah, with this chain. Grading: Al-Tirmidhi called it "a gharib hadith" and declared Ishaq (bin Yahya) weak.
