أخبرنا جعفر بن محمد بن نُصَير الخُلْدي، حدثنا علي بن عبد العزيز البَغَوي بمكة، حدثنا حَجَّاج بن المِنهال، قال: حدثنا حمَّاد بن سَلَمة، عن قَتَادة، عن الحسن، عن سَمُرة قال: عُرِضَ القرآنُ على رسول الله ﷺ عَرَضاتٍ. فيقولون: إنَّ قراءتنا هذه هي العَرْضةُ الأخيرة (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري بعضُه، وبعضُه على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. من كتاب قراءات النبي ﷺ ممّا لم يُخرجاه وقد صَحَّ سندُه

مِنْ كِتَابِ قِرَاءَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّا لَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدْ صَحَّ سَنَدُهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Qur'an was presented (reviewed) before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) several times; and the people say that this present recitation of ours is in accordance with the final presentation (al-ardah al-akhirah).
Part of this hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari and part on the condition of Imam Muslim, but they did not record it; it is among the hadiths about the recitations of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which the two Shaykhs did not mention despite their chains being authentic.

(1) إسناده صحيح، وقد سلف الكلام على سماع الحسن - وهو البصري - من سمرة عند الحديث (150)، وحسَّن إسناده الحافظ ابن حجر في "مختصر زوائد البزار" (1552) و"فتح الباري" 15/ 91. والقائل: "فيقولون: إنَّ قراءتنا … إلخ" هو حماد بن سلمة كما وقع مصرَّحًا به في رواية عبيد الله بن الحجاج بن المنهال عن أبيه عند الروياني في "مسنده" (826).
Grading of the chain: Its chain is "sahih". Discussion of whether al-Hasan (al-Basri) heard from Samurah has passed under hadith (150). Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar graded its chain "hasan" in "Mukhtasar Zawa'id al-Bazzar" (1552) and "Fath al-Bari" (15/ 91).
Identifying the speaker: The one who says: "They say: our reading …" is Hammad bin Salamah, as is stated explicitly in the narration of 'Ubaydullah bin al-Hajjaj bin al-Minhal from his father in al-Ruyani's "Musnad" (826).
وأخرجه البزار (4564)، والروياني (817) و (826) من طرق عن الحجاج بن منهال، بهذا الإسناد. وقالوا فيه: ثلاث عرضات.
