It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer is not one who taunts, nor one who curses, nor one who is obscene, nor one who is vulgar."
This hadith is sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs; they used all of these narrators as evidence, yet they did not narrate it. The most that can be said about it is that it is not found with the (general) students of al-A'mash, whereas Isra'il bin Yunus al-Sabi'i is the senior-most and leader of his students, and he shares many of al-A'mash's teachers with him, so his being alone (in narrating) this hadith is not grounds for rejecting it. This hadith also has another corroborating narration (shahid) on the condition of both of them.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) This hadith is sahih, and this chain is strong on account of Muhammad bin Sabiq. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibrahim refers to "Ibn Yazid al-Nakha'i", the son of 'Alqamah's sister; 'Alqamah refers to "Ibn Qays al-Nakha'i"; and Abd Allah refers to "Ibn Mas'ud" (may Allah be pleased with him). Reference / Source: Ahmad (vol. 6/ no. 3839) and al-Tirmidhi (1977) narrated it by way of Muhammad bin Sabiq with this same chain. Grading: Imam al-Tirmidhi said: This hadith is "hasan gharib". Note / Clarification: See also the one after it.
Important point: (3) With this (chain) al-Hakim is refuting those who denied that this hadith was with al-A'mash (i.e. they did not accept it as a narration of al-A'mash), such as Ibn al-Madini and Ibn Abi Shaybah. For details, see the biography of Muhammad bin Sabiq in "Tahdhib al-Kamal".
