It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: My maternal aunt had been divorced with three pronouncements. She went out (of the house) to harvest her dates, and a man met her and forbade her (from going out during the waiting period). She came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do go out and harvest your dates; perhaps you will give some of it in charity or do some other good deed."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
