حدثني عبد الله بن عمر بن علي (1) الجَوهَري بمَرْو من أصل كتابه، حدثنا يحيى بن ساسَوَيهِ بن عبد الكريم، حدثنا سُوَيد بن نصر، حدثنا ابن المبارَك، عن مَعمَر، عن قتادة، عن زُرَارة بن أَوفى، عن أبي هريرة، عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: "يومُ القيامةِ كقَدْرِ ما بينَ الظُّهر والعصر" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد على شرط الشيخين إن كان سويد بن نصر حَفِظَه، على أنه ثقةٌ مأمونٌ.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Day of Resurrection (for the believers) will be only as long as the time between Zuhr and Asr."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) if Suwayd bin Nasr preserved it correctly, and he is reliable and trustworthy.

(1) كذا وقع في النسخ الخطية: علي، والمشهور: علَّك، وله ترجمة في "سير أعلام النبلاء" 16/ 168.
Identification of names: In the manuscripts the name here appears as "Ali", while the well-known name is "Allak", whose biography is in "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'" (16/168).
(2) صحيح موقوفًا، يحيى بن ساسويه أو شيخه سويد بن نصر قد رواه من هو أوثق منهما عن عبد الله بن المبارك موقوفًا كما سيأتي في الحديث التالي.
Grading: Sahih as mawquf.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Compared with Yahya bin Sasawayh or his teacher Suwayd bin Nasr, someone more trustworthy than them narrated it from Abd Allah bin al-Mubarak as mawquf, as will come in the next narration.
وأخرجه أبو منصور الديلمي في "مسند الفردوس" كما في "الغرائب الملتقطة" لابن حجر (3554) من طريق الحاكم في "المستدرك".
Reference / Source: Abu Mansur al-Daylami narrated it in "Musnad al-Firdaws", as in Ibn Hajar's "al-Ghara'ib al-Multaqatah" (3554), via al-Hakim in "al-Mustadrak".
