Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 280

حدَّثَناه أبو علي الحافظ، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن المغيرة البغدادي، حدثنا أبو كُرَيب، حدثنا عُبيد الله بن عبد الرحمن الأشجَعي، عن سفيان، عن محمد بن المنكَدِر، عن جابر قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إذا دَخَلَ أهلُ الجنةِ الجنةَ قال الله ﷿: ألا أنبِّئُكم بأكبرَ من هذا؟ قالوا: بلى، وما أكبرُ من هذا؟ قال: الرِّضْوانُ" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise have entered Paradise, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will say: Shall I not tell you of something greater than this? They will say: Yes indeed, what is greater than this? Allah will say: My good pleasure."

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد جيد. أبو كريب: هو محمد بن العلاء.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and its chain is jayyid (good).
Identification of names: Abu Kurayb is Muhammad bin al-Ala'.
وأخرجه ابن المقرئ في "معجمه" (1067) عن عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن المغيرة، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn al-Muqri' narrated it in his "Mu'jam" (1067) from Abd al-Rahman bin Muhammad bin al-Mughirah, with this chain.
وأخرجه ابن الأعرابي في "معجمه" (837) عن أبي بكر أحمد بن محمد السعدي، عن أبي كريب، به. وانظر ما قبله.
