أخبرني محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي طالب. وحدثنا أبو علي الحافظ، أخبرنا علي بن العباس البَجَلي؛ قالا: حدثنا محمد بن بشار، حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، سمعتُ أبا إسحاقَ يحدّث عن عامر بن سَعْد، أنه قال: كنت مع ثابت بن وَدِيعةَ وقَرَظة بن كعب في عُرس، فسمعتُ صوتًا، فقلت: ألا تَسمعان؟! فقالا: إنه رُخِّص في الغناء في العُرس، والبكاءِ على الميت مِن غير نِياحَةٍ (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد رواه شَريك بن عبد الله عن أبي إسحاق مُفسَّرًا مُلخَّصًا:

It is narrated from Amir bin Sa'd that he said: I was with Thabit bin Wadi'ah and Qarazah bin Ka'b at a wedding, and I heard the sound (of singing), so I said: "Do you not hear (what is going on)?!" They replied: "Indeed, we have been granted a concession for singing at weddings, and for weeping over the deceased without wailing."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
