أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا أحمد بن مِهْران، حدثنا محمد بن سابِق، حدثنا إسرائيل، عن هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة، قالت: نَقَلْنا امرأةً من الأنصار إلى زوجها، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "هل كان معكم لهوٌ، فإنَّ الأنصارَ يُحِبُّون اللهوَ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: We escorted a woman of the Ansar to her husband, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Was there any entertainment (means of celebration) with you? For the Ansar love entertainment."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل أحمد بن مهران - وهو ابن خالد الأصبهاني - وقد توبع.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih", and this chain is "hasan" because of Ahmad bin Mihran (who is Ahmad bin Khalid al-Asbahani), and he has been corroborated (mutaba'ah).
وأخرجه البخاري (5162) عن الفضل بن يعقوب، عن محمد بن سابق، بهذا الإسناد. فاستدراك الحاكم له ذهولٌ منه.
Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari (5162) narrated it from al-Fadl bin Ya'qub, from Muhammad bin Sabiq, with this same chain.
Note / Clarification: Therefore al-Hakim's including it as an addition (istidrak), claiming that al-Bukhari did not narrate it, is an oversight (dhuhul) on his part.
وأخرجه بنحوه أحمد 43/ (26313)، وابن حبان (5875) من طريق سهل بن أبي حَثْمة، عن عائشة. لكن بلفظ: "يُحبُّون الغناء". وإسناده حسن.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (43/ 26313) and Ibn Hibban (5875) narrated something similar through the route of Sahl bin Abi Hathmah from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), but there the wording is: "يحبون الغناء" (they love singing).
Grading: And its chain is "hasan".
