حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحَكَم، أخبرنا ابن وهب، أخبرنا عبد الله بن الأسود القُرشي، عن عامر بن عبد الله بن الزُّبَير، عن أبيه، عن رسول الله ﷺ، قال: "أعلِنُوا النكاحَ" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Amir bin Abdullah bin al-Zubayr, from his father Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Announce marriage publicly."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده حسن من أجل عبد الله بن الأسود القرشي، فقد قال عنه الدارقطني: مصري لا بأس به، وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وصحَّح حديثه هذا، وروى عنه عبد الله بن وهب وعبد الله بن عياش القِتْباني.
Grading: The chain of this hadith is "hasan".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The reason the chain is hasan is "'Abdullah bin al-Aswad al-Qurashi", about whom al-Daraqutni said: "He is Egyptian, la ba'sa bihi (there is no harm in him)". Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat" and declared this hadith of his sahih. 'Abdullah bin Wahb and 'Abdullah bin 'Ayyash al-Qitbani narrated from him.
وأخرجه أحمد 26/ (16130) عن هارون بن معروف، وابن حبان (4066) من طريق حرملة بن يحيى، كلاهما عن عبد الله بن وهب، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (26/ 16130) recorded it from Harun bin Ma'ruf, and Ibn Hibban (4066) through the route of Harmalah bin Yahya; both of them narrate it from 'Abdullah bin Wahb with this same chain.
