Grading: Its isnad is "extremely da'if" because of Ahmad bin 'Isa bin Zayd al-Lakhmi; he is "matruk al-hadith", and some called him a liar. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ahmad bin 'Abdullah al-Barqi (saduq) narrated it from 'Amr bin Abi Salamah, but with a difference in the text; moreover, the narrations of the people of Syria from Zuhayr bin Muhammad al-Tamimi are not "sound", and this narration is one of them, because 'Amr bin Abi Salamah is from Damascus (Syria). Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Hatim narrated it in his "Tafsir" (2/ 608) through the chain of Ahmad bin 'Abd al-Rahim al-Barqi from 'Amr bin Abi Salamah from Zuhayr bin Muhammad, with the wording: "A qintar means one thousand dinars". Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Hatim (2/ 608) and Ibn Abi al-Dunya in "al-Tahajjud" (346) narrated it through the chain of Yazid al-Raqashi (Yazid bin Aban) from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A qintar is one thousand dinars". Grading: Yazid al-Raqashi is a "da'if" narrator.
