حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، حدثنا محمد بن فُضَيل، حدثنا أبو سِنَان (2) ضِرَار بن مُرَّة، عن محارِب بن دِثَار، عن ابن بُرَيدة، عن أبيه قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "أهلُ الجنة عشرون ومئةُ صَفٍّ، هذه الأُمَّة منها ثمانون صفًّا" (3). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. وله شاهد من حديث سفيان الثَّوْري عن علقمة بن مَرثَد عن سليمان بن بُريدة عن أبيه: [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] ترقيم العلميه 273 - على شرط مسلم
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise will be in one hundred and twenty rows, of which eighty rows will be of this Ummah alone."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(2) تحرَّف في النسخ الخطية إلى: أبي سليمان. Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts this name has been corrupted into "Abu Sulayman" (which is wrong).
(3) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل أحمد بن عبد الجبار العُطاردي، وقد توبع. وأخرجه الترمذي (2546)، وابن حبان (7459) من طريقين عن محمد بن فضيل، بهذا الإسناد. Grading: The hadith is sahih, and this chain is hasan on account of Ahmad bin Abd al-Jabbar al-Utaridi, and he has been corroborated. Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (2546) and Ibn Hibban (7459) narrated it via two routes from Muhammad bin Fudayl, with this chain. وقال الترمذي: حديث حسن. Grading: Al-Tirmidhi called it "a hasan hadith". وأخرجه أحمد 38/ (22940) و (23002) و (23061) من طريق عبد العزيز بن مسلم القسملي، عن ضرار أبي سنان، به. وسمَّى ابنَ بريدة في الموضع الأخير: عبد الله. وانظر ما بعده. Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it (38/22940, 23002, 23061) via Abd al-Aziz bin Muslim al-Qasmali from Dirar Abu Sinan, and in the last place he named Ibn Buraydah explicitly as "Abd Allah".
